How It Started
Lenz Construction began with a simple belief:
homes matter—and the way they’re built or remodeled should reflect the lives lived inside them.
What started as smaller projects grew naturally as clients trusted us with more of their homes. Over time, our work expanded into full remodels, ADUs, outdoor structures, and commercial improvements, all guided by the same core values: integrity, clear communication, and quality craftsmanship.
One Team. One Vision.
We’re a husband-and-wife team, which means design and construction are aligned from the very beginning.
Lisa works closely with each client throughout the design and planning process, helping translate ideas into clear, thoughtful decisions that reflect both style and how the space will be used day to day.
Will oversees construction, ensuring each project is executed with care, quality, and attention to detail.
This collaborative approach creates a smoother process—and better results.
Will’s love for building began in high school through drafting and architecture classes, where he discovered a passion for designing custom spaces. That passion grew deeper in 2015 when he built his first tiny home—and from that point on, he was hooked.
While teaching middle school, Will spent evenings, weekends, and school breaks working on construction projects, continually learning and refining his skills. In 2021, he stepped away from teaching to work with a general contractor in Stockton, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of residential construction as well as small business management.
Just over two years later, Will earned his California General B Contractor’s License and launched Lenz Construction.
Today, building thoughtful, functional spaces for families and businesses is more than a career—it’s something he genuinely loves.
When he’s not working, Will enjoys spending time with Lisa and their five children, running, gardening, and being outdoors.

I’ve always loved walking into a space and imagining what it could become.
My mother is an artist and interior designer, and I grew up surrounded by conversations about color palettes, fireplace mantels, fixtures, layouts, and furniture placement. Watching her work — and being part of those discussions — shaped my eye for design and formed my deep belief in collaboration and the value of listening. Great design doesn’t happen in isolation; it grows out of conversation.
Designing our first tiny home was especially meaningful for me. It was the first space that was completely ours — a reflection of who we were and how we wanted to live. With just 200 square feet to work with, every inch had to be intentional and functional. That challenge refined my design philosophy: beauty matters, but function is essential.
Now, raising a large and growing family with lots of moving parts has only strengthened that perspective. Our home has to work hard — it has to flow, support daily life, and still feel welcoming and beautiful. That balance between practicality and aesthetic warmth is something I bring into every project.
When I work with clients, my goal is to help them see the potential in their space, guide them through thoughtful decisions, and create a home that feels both personal and purposeful.
Our Crew
Behind every project is a small, dedicated crew we trust completely.
Our team of three is hardworking, reliable, kind, and respectful. They’re skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work and understand that they’re working in someone’s home—not just on a job site.
You can expect familiar faces, consistent quality, and a team that treats your space with care.
